Hi there!
My name is Meg Mullen, I am a 21-year-old University student studying a Bachelor of Communication majoring in Public Relations.
I want to welcome you to my blog.
I want to give you a little spill on how I am.
I am from the lovely town of Geelong, where I love to head to the many beaches in Torquay, Ocean Grove and Barwon Heads, where I can grab a coffee, walk my dog and have a swim.
I am the youngest of 5, our family is extending all the time with new little members popping in.
I have a strong interest in art and design. My favourite things to do in my down time is to get creative with watercolours. Cooking has also become a new interest of mine, I am not very good but I love trying to whip up a banana cake when I can.
As you might be able to tell from the title this is my entrance into the blogging scene. I have only ever blogged a few times in the past. But they have only ever been short little posts that I thought weren’t enough to make an entire blog out of them.
I have always loved reading other people blogs about lifestyle, beauty, wellness and health. The way that some individuals are able to captivate you creating a post that feels like you are having an intimate conversation with a friend, sharing advice, your thoughts and feelings about a particular topic.
Through the development of social media, platforms such as Instagram have enabled individuals to view such a wide variety of different types of blogging. From your typical website online, to video blogs about a person’s life and even through an individual’s Instagram created to represent a mini blog.
I personally, have always been a bit afraid of blogging myself. I have been worried in the past that I was unable to create a blog post that were as good as the other ones that I have seen and read in the past.
You may be asking, why start now?
I have realised now, that the beauty of blogging is that everyone can take a different approach on it. They are able to create their own flare and spin on the way that they want to connect to the audience and share their information.
I am very stoked to start blogging, creating my own space and sharing my ideas with all of you.
I am excited to share my blogging journey with you all.
Keep you updated.
From your friend,
Meg.
